About property
Villa delle Cave is situated on Favignana Island, the largest of the Egadi Islands, three islands off the coast of Western Sicily. There are good ferry connections from Trapani, as well as between the islands, and it is fairly low-key destination where those that visit are happy to fit in with the leisurely island way of life.
Standing on the headland, and enjoying views of the sea as well as the surrounding countryside, Villa delle Cave has been built very much in the local style. It offers spacious and comfortable accommodation in two separate units, with a patio in between, one comprising of the living/dining and kitchen area and the other comprising of the bedrooms and shower rooms.
There are open and covered terraces, gardens laid to lawn, with palm trees, olive trees and Mediterranean shrubs and it is just a short drive to the beaches of Cala Azzurra and Cala Rossa, as well as to Favignana town, with its pedestrianized centre and lovely squares, Piazza Madrice and Piazza Europa, where you can relax and enjoy a coffee at local café, and simply watch the world go by.
