Villa Anemone

Immersed in a rural setting in southeast Sicily, Anemone is an enchanting villa with a private pool. Pozzallo and the superb beaches around Modica are close by, as is the baroque heart of the Val di Noto.

The overall atmosphere of the villa is rustic, but its proportions and level of comfort make it particularly suitable for families or a group of friends. It’s set in a spacious Mediterranean garden, adorned with typical carob trees and scented with herbs which create a wonderfully restful atmosphere.

The outdoor space guarantees tranquillity and relaxation throughout the day. Take dips in the delightful pool, set in the middle of the lawn, or relax on the sun loungers and comfy armchairs on the solarium bordering the pool. A stone pathway leads to a large patio with dining table, outside kitchen and barbecue: after all, al fresco dining is one of the joys of holidaying in Sicily!

Villa Anemone is a traditional rural property set on two levels. The light-filled living area extends across the whole of the ground floor, comprising a living room with pleasant pool views, and a large well-equipped kitchen with dining table. There is also a guest bathroom with shower on the ground floor.

The upper floor is accessed either via an internal staircase or an external flight of stairs that leads directly to the magnificent, covered veranda, furnished with sofas and armchairs. The bedrooms have large French windows which open on to the veranda: three double bedrooms, with the option of adding a single bed in two of them, and another double, plus two bathrooms with shower.

All four bedrooms are a good size and furnished in a rustic style, with white as the dominant colour – with more than a splash of colour provided by the vibrant natural surroundings!

The beauty of holidaying at Villa Anemone is the pleasure of switching off from the outside world and enjoying a period of complete relaxation. But you are in Sicily, which means that you’re surrounded by magnificent artistic and historical treasures, in a mesmerising natural setting. For starters, we recommend the powder-soft sand and crystal-clear water at the beach at Santa Maria del Focallo, less than 10 km away. Be sure to experience the splendour of the Sicilian Baroque period in the nearby towns of Noto, Modica, Ragusa Ibla and Scicli, and allow yourself to be seduced by the flavours of Sicilian food and the intense aromas of Sicilian wine.

Standard booking conditions include a minimum of 4-5 nights for villas and 2-3 nights for apartments. Different booking conditions may apply for specific properties or seasons. The bedrooms made available, where the number of guests is below the maximum occupancy, and in case of a reduced rate due to the lower occupancy, will be adequate for the number of guests to stay there.
