Villas in Sicily near UNESCO sites

Sicily UNESCO sites can be found all over the island. The World Heritage list counts 24 locations on the island: it includes several historic sites, as well as natural reserves. Here’s a selection of villas near Sicily UNESCO sites such as Villa Romana del Casale, the Archaeological Area of Agrigento – where you will find our special selection of villas near the Valley of the Temples, the most famous archeological location on the island -, the beautiful Aeolian Islands, the Late Baroque Towns of the Val di Noto in Southeastern Sicily, Syracuse and the Rocky Necropolis of Pantalica, and of course the majestic Mount Etna, the tallest active volcano in Europe.
Lately UNESCO selected a few historic buildings located in Palermo, Monreale and Cefalù as part of a new itinerary listed in the World Heritage as “Arab-Norman Palermo and Cathedral Churches of Cefalù and Monreale”.
